According to exclusive sources from NOTICIAS, Johnny Depp will be in Buenos Aires for a week to record several musical tracks at the recording studio of Jorge “Corcho” Rodríguez, known as La Roca Power Studio, located at his residence in San Isidro. This visit is linked to his previous stay in Punta del Este, where he was also invited by Rodríguez and his wife Verónica Lozano to the Yellow Rose ranch, where he enjoyed polo matches.
The friendship between “Corcho” Rodríguez and Depp is said to have started through a mutual photographer friend, Ross Halfin, known for his photos of rock icons. They met last year during the Rome and San Sebastián festivals, at the premiere of the movie Modi, directed by Depp.
In addition to their personal relationship, Depp and Rodríguez have a commercial bond, as Corcho is in charge of distributing Depp‘s movie in Latin America. They are also collaborating on the creation of a wine, the name, label design, and packaging of which will be decided in the coming days.
